A recent survey claims that '60% of churched adults want churches to continue gathering digitally'. We've been streaming on Facebook for over four years now - long before the pandemic forced us to go 'online only' for a time. I recently received an email promoting how we can do more online to "Create a Meaningful Digital Journey for Your...

Sharing a message isn't difficult these days. We can email, text, instant message, or use the phone to call people. We can use websites and blogs and Instagram and Tik Tok and Facebook and Twitter to send out a message to larger audiences— as long as you don't get banned or put in Facebook jail.

Back in June of 2020, a man named Danyal Hussein stabbed two women to death in North London. He made the bizarre claim that he had made a pact with a demon. Hussein pledged to kill six women in six months in return for winning a lottery jackpot and signed a contract using his own blood.

Recently, on a Facebook page for alumni of Lincoln Christian University - there was a discussion of a topic I've mentioned recently. 'Should Christians feel comfortable with American flags in the Church?' As I look around at all the red, white and blue - I don't think it's a secret where I might stand... I've talked in the past about how nothing seems to be certain and everything changes - but what we're living now... wow! Many of you lived through the social upheavals and cultural revolutions we've seen in the past 50-60 years - but I'm not sure any of us have seen anything at the pace and scale we...

A few weeks ago I was getting my car's tires rotated. I was seated in a waiting room without control of the remote - so I had the 'pleasure' of watching a talk show called 'The Talk'. If you're not familiar - it's definitely targeted more towards a female audience. They had a guest on, a man, who wrote a...

I read an article about a problem that many Churches are facing. How do we keep our young people in Church? It seems that once many 'Church kids' leave High School, they leave the faith as well.

Last week, we recognized Memorial Day. God encourages memorials to help us remember significant things. We have short memories - many times it takes as little as one generation for important things to be forgotten. We see that over and over in scripture in the Old Testament where God's people simply forgot what He had done for them....

Tomorrow is Memorial Day - a day set aside for us to remember those men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It's not particularly a religious holiday - but one I think is vital that we recognize. And the fact that we are free to gather today for worship is...

2020 was sort of a reset year for each of us as to what was truly important. The value we placed on different things changed. Nice business attire wasn't as big a thing as many did zoom calls and tele-commuted. And as many were home - the value we placed on home maintenance and even expanding outdoor areas or home...
